If a major internet web site is trying to control freedom of religion and speech, who do you report it to?

I received an email from a major web site telling me that I was violating their rules, but they wouldn't tell me what rule I was violating? They threatened to terminate my account. How do you correct something wrong without knowing what to correct? I just think they dont like me for some reason. Maybe it's because I'm a Christian and its making unbelievers angry becasue they don't want to hear the Gospel of Christ. You can't control people for that reason. That's discrimination. It's also denial of freedom of speech.If a major internet web site is trying to control freedom of religion and speech, who do you report it to?
Well it's against the 5th ammendment, so who's rules are they? Radicals use scare tactics obviously because they want to control. I would say that happens in any belief so I would ignore it. So I say keep speaking your mind and state why you believe in Christ while at the same time allowing them to believe what that want. We do not force our beliefs onto anyone, we only give our views.

';If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

If all men count with you, but none too much..'; IF..by Rudyard Kipling.If a major internet web site is trying to control freedom of religion and speech, who do you report it to?
The 5th Amendment? That amendment prevents the Government from conducting unreasonable search and seizure or to force you to testify against and/or incriminate yourself. What does that have to do with anything?

Report Abuse

Do what I've been doing. I report every stupid comment or question I see, and it seems to be working.
You want freedom of speech on another person's web site? I'm sure you are aware they made you agree to their conditions before you began posting there, and I'm sure that allowing them to edit and otherwise control all content posted there was part of that agreement. They aren't violating your freedom of speech, you are violating their terms of service.

EDIT: Incidentally, I am a Christian too.
Yahoo deleted something you wrote huh?
Yahoo is allowing you to use a service they are providing without cost. It's like going to a party sponsored by some individual. To stay at the party you have to play by their rules or you get kicked out. Admittedly, Yahoo's rules and procedures aren't the best, but you could go off to another site and talk all you want about whatever you want, but you don't because you like this party. Since Yahoo is allowing you to use their Private resources, they control content--freedom of speech does not apply, just like at work or at a private party.

Whining about getting flagged is common for a variety of different belief systems on the R%26amp;S section. It's not just you or Christians.
The website in question doesnt take any time to read answers, it is an automated system that deletes any posts that generate ';red flags';

Since the website is not the US, and isnt even central only TO the US.. ';free speech'; does not apply. There are many different countries that access the site, and not every country has free speech. They do not hire people to read all the questions, nor all the ';flagged'; questions. It's just ';red flag = violation= deleted';
YA at it again?
Discrimination by an internet company by not allowing your post is not a crime or violation of the Constitution. The Constitution prevents the government from hindering your freedom of religion and/or speech. Certain laws prevent private individuals from discriminating based on race and gender for certain activity such as hiring and/or renting/selling housing.
Unfortunately, unless they're being slanderous, you can't do anything. They have the freedom to sway others because it's their right. There are forces at work that sway our decisions everyday. Look at the media..Newspapers, Television, and Radio are politically biased and yet noone holds them accountable for their views.
you can't, you are using their technology. do your speeches your own technique or way.
You have the right to believe in what ever you choose, you have complete freedom. So do other people, so when you try to preach to them the gospel they don't want to hear it. Believe what you want to believe but let others believe what they want to believe and leave it at that, there is no need to preach to them.
Since the Internet is world wide, freedom of religion and speech vary according to the laws of the country from which the web site emanates. In addition, a private company does not have to allow you freedom of speech. If I work for a bank, lets say, I follow the rules set forth by that bank - if I violate those rules by standing on my desk and shouting at the top of my lungs my religious beliefs, they have every right to sanction me or fire me. You are using a web site that is made and controlled by someone other than yourself - their rules apply. Sorry.
I don't want to hear the gospel of Christ and I don't appreciate having it forced on me when I haven't expressed a desire to hear it-that isn't limiting someone's freedom of expression it's asking that my viewpoint be respected.
