Hackers are NOT the biggest problem on the internet. SPAM and Spyware are the worst problems by far.
Yep, read the article by Eric Steven Raymond pointed out by other answerer. Maybe you should mention crackers instead of Hackers. That really irritates the hacker community. Hackers are supposedly build not to destroy, they dedicate their life to improve the conditions and the systems of the internet and yes they are the ones who invented the internet.
