I can't connect to the internet, but it says i am connected to a LAN in the control panel?

so basically, last night my internet stopped working. it said that my connection had limited or no connectivity. i went to the control panel, clicked the network options settings, and then i clicked repair. then it said i was, but when i tried signing on to the internet, it wouldnt let me, i went again to network options, but it said it was connected, so what do i do now?

i am using my friend's computer right now.I can't connect to the internet, but it says i am connected to a LAN in the control panel?
i would suggest unplugging the modem and then plugging it back in. This often restarts the internet connection. If not you have to call your internet provider. This happens to me all the time and restarting the modem often worksI can't connect to the internet, but it says i am connected to a LAN in the control panel?
';connected but limited connectivity';

Wireless connection ??!!! your missing the WEP KEY

If this is a hardwired connection.. you have a serious issue...

getting back to wireless...the wep key is located in the router in the wireless setting somewhere....

For ';some'; reason if you already had entered this before it got corrupted don't know why...move forward....

remove all wireless connection setting...refesh the available wireless network list and do a fresh connection and re-entered the wep KEY...

ANYWHO HOPE THIS HELPS....
ok well first of all go on to your internet click on tools, internet options connections than click lan settings then click automatically detect settings that should do it, if not i dunno?
