My sis blocked the internet on my Hp vista laptop, how can i disband the parental controls on it?

she just left 1 or 2 sites allowed but i cant go on any other sites. i want to find a way to use some internet sites without removing the parental controls on the internet. THNX to whoever helps :}

BTW she has a password and i cant remove the parental controls without her password. My sis blocked the internet on my Hp vista laptop, how can i disband the parental controls on it?
use a certain software called a keylogger - it'll create a text file of every key entered into the computer, that way when she uses the laptop you can find out her password and take over the admin account [although it still takes a bit of guesswork to find out which part of the text is the password but thats a small price to pay]

try this one:

You said 'MY' laptop, which is it, hers or yours?

Of course you can always play 'mean' right back by telling her to take off the control or you will deny her the privilege of going on-line altogether.

(PS: You will not be affected!)

You like that idea?

Easy to do, heh heh.

Tell her first though and give her a chance to redeem herself, if she refuses follow the following commands to the letter:

1. Delete the desktop shortcut fo your browser, right-click it %26gt; Delete.

It will automatically be sent to the Recycle Bin where you can 'Restore' it for yourself later.

2. Start up Windows Explorer, find the Browser, right-click the folder %26gt; Delete, same thing happens, sent to Recycle Bin for you to 'Restore' it later.

3. Do the same for any other Browsers you may have on your Desktop, so there is no icon for a Browser on the Desktop.

She will not be able to get on-line as there won't be an icon for it, but you can always go to 'Recycle Bin' and 'Restore' them. They will all be put back where they were originally.

If she knows how to do it herself, I have many more tricks up my sleeve but this is the most 'effective' one with not too much work.

Should you need more info, you can email me and we will make life difficult for her.

PS: I need both your ages to be sure about your situation.

;-)
Well, without that password, you are...as the saying goes...SOL. Sorry.

She probably did it for you own good.
