If Russia invaded and conquered the US would Russia then also control all US based internet sites?

I have a friend from the US named Kimberley and she said that if Russia invades the US the worst thing she can think of that Russian troops can do to her (other than kill her) is close down all her favorite internet sites such as Youtube, facebook or Yahoo.





So if Russia captures the US will all the US made internet sites get controled or closed?

you dont have to be worried about Russia (or China, a more realistic threat) shutting down your favorite websites. ever year of 'internet 2'? censored internet coming to a US town near you!! Your own government is your largest threat.





corporations are as large and rich as nations..they dont need to worry about an invasion, they are independently owned.
If the Russian ever did invade (not going to happen - they don't want to anyway) it would be very stupid of them to take away your internet. They would want to get the people on their side to stop them uprising.
if they didn't bomb the **** out of the cities or wherever the mainframes are kept for these sites then they may keep them open but it may be controlled like the nazi propaganda machines.
