Set aside anhour or 2 specifacally for study time, turn off messanger service and any access to chat rooms. If you have questions that you need to ask someone, set aside a few minutes after your scheduled study time to sign in to messanger. But stick to a schedule, when your hour for study is up, do something else, for awhile. If you rack your brain with all work and no play, you not only will be easily distracted from your task, but you will gt a really bad attitude towards it also. Maybe you can find a study partner to chat with. Get online at the same time and do nothing but study with this person in your messanger window. It will help you stay focused and allow you to socailize at the same time. Another suggestion is to use the computer at your local library. That way, your time is limited and you dont have access to chat rooms. Otherwise, self descipline is exactly that, disciplining your self. Descide how important passing this test is to you, if it ranks up there with one of the most important goals to acheive, than use that as your motivation. tape a note to your self on the computer screne that says I Must Pass The Test.. Or Suffer the Consequences!Keep remindeing your self of the importance of it. And than imagine what you will do if you fail. Please help... i cant help control myself on internet from wasting time..?
Let's see. How can I possibly affect or control what you choose to do?

I can't!

Only you can. Apparently, your time on the internet is vastly more important than anything else you can imagine right now.

It's your life, the choices are yours and it's your business what you choose to do. You'll bear the responsibility for the consequences of your choices. So, it's all up to you. Mot me, or anyone else.

sorry.
Write down a schedule and stick to it. Allow yourself a specific amount of goof-off time, like 10 minutes every hour or every certain number of chapters. That way, you reward yourself for concentrating and getting through the material. Moreover, since that time is part of your plan you don't feel like a failure for checking your e-mail or browsing.

If you can get 50 minutes per hour of quality study time over the next two months, you'll be fine. Trying to deny yourself completely means you'll eventually give in and lose much more time, and waste time trying to figure out why you wasted that time, etc...

You can also ask a friend/roommate to check in with you every so often to make sure you're on schedule, in case you get distracted :P
SORRY 2 say u lack in your WILL POWER!!!

See,any of us cant help u, if u dont do it by urself seriously.

one can give u way bt how 2 cross that way totally depends upon u.

B confident and punctual at work and try 2 make a proper time schedule in which give more time 2 urself in studies than being on net.

ALL THE VERY BEST N LOTS OF LUCK 4 UR EXAMS!!!!!
I am just like this (I'm 25 too). When it's time for study, I'd rather do ANYTHING else. However I usually turn to cleaning as an escape from study.

I WOULD MUCH RATHER CLEAN THE TOILET than settle down and revise!

My advice is simple; it cannot be THAT urgent that you revise or you would be forced to do it by your own conscience. I mean, you've got 2 and a half months...How much time do you need?! Last minute has always worked for me. (I got a very good mark at the end of uni) Do something you enjoy rather than trying to study. You're not getting anywhere and only succeeding in making yourself feel guilty.

When it's time to knuckle down, you will know.

:)
