I do not agree with any form of censorship. This does not include minors. But it is basically the parents' responsibility to censor for their minor children.
There are precautions that should be taken for objectionable material however. Notices of it's content, requirement of proof of age to view, etc.
Libraries for example could have objectionable material in a secure area where only those choosing to enter (and who were of legal age to enter) were allowed. This way, other patrons would not be annoyed by the material.
As far as spam goes --- computers all have a ';delete'; key. And this key works wonders on spam. It's the same as junk mail in your postbox. They make stoves/fireplaces/trashcans you know.How do you feel about Internet censorship? Should there be controls on the material available? If so, who shou
I'm kind of in the middle of this. I hate to hear about kids watching p*** but then again, it is the parents' responsibility to shield their children away from all this stuff not the governments. The way I see it, people want censorship but can't give their kids the values they want them to have so they have to get laws made.
