It should be free information. Except if you are talking about keeping children from information deemed inapropriate for minors. Then there should be some kind of Parental controls for that. Remember that just because you saw some information on the internet DOES NOT make it to be FACT, it is opinions for the most part, or something someone wrote about. You cannot always trust what people write on the internet, it is just self expression and should be considered FREEDOM OF SPEECH.Information available over the Internet should be controlled?
no, the internet would loose so much of what makes it great if it where controlled. Then things would start to be cut out of it based on what others think is right and wrong.
Of course it _should_ be controlled. There is dangerous information out there, fueling perverts and sickos. Little children can watch videos of brutal rapes. That said, I would gladly die to prevent it from happening. The second people are in control of content, they are deciding what is right and safe for me. I make that call. Free speech is the only freedom we really have left out of the Constitution, and even that is slipping away.
