Can be disabled from menu bar so you can just have it on when you need it to maximise security, that is just FAB!
remote control access - its built into windows xp - one computer gives another ip address access to their computer, then the other one requess it remotely, and then it can take contol of the c from a distant location.
you can find it under accessories in the start menu.

Yes there is. www.tightvnc.com is a program for remote controlling a pc, and is free to use. just be warned that anyone who knows your IP address and knows that you have this software will also be able to control you pc through it...I was told to download this as part of another program, and that's how my Ebay account was hacked, so please be careful!
There is Real VNC, which is great.
There is also one right in Windows XP, called Remote Desktop.
Just make sure to enable it in the Control Panel options.
